 CDL's Gifted Evaluation ServicesThese evaluations are conducted for the purpose of determining a student's eligibility for special education services via placement in a program for students classified as Gifted and are consistent with criteria required by the Louisiana State Department of Education. The components of a Gifted evaluation consist of parent and teacher interviews and individually administered tests of intelligence and achievement in reading and math. If the student does not reside in the State of Louisiana, parents should contact their local school system for specific information required by the state in which they live. The approximate time needed to complete these evaluations is four hours and includes a feedback session for parents and the student when age-appropriate.
