Attendee FAQs

Pre-Event Questions:

When will I receive access to the Virtual Event Platform?
After you’ve completed the pre-conference registration, you will have full access to the virtual sessions 30 minutes prior to the start of each. Until then, you can browse the Plain Talk platform to view the schedule, exhibit hall, and presenter bios. 

Do I need to register for individual sessions?
Yes, you will need to register for each individual session you would like to attend. However, this does not limit you should you want to switch sessions midway through a session block. You will just need to register for the new session before joining the session. Each session has unlimited capacity.

Do you offer a group registration discount?
A group registration discount is not available for this event. The registration price per attendee is $399.

If I registered and can no longer attend, can I receive a refund?
All sales are final. Unfortunately, no refunds will be provided for this event. However, you will receive recordings of all sessions so you will still be able to enjoy the content after the conference dates.

Can I make a substitution, if I cannot attend?
No substitutions are allowed for this event; however, if you can’t attend LIVE, you will have access to session recordings.

How can I request a copy of the Center for Development and Learning’s W-9 form?

Will I receive a certificate of attendance?
Participants will be provided a certificate of attendance with dates and number of hours after the post-event survey has been completed.

Plain Talk Day-of FAQs

I am having problems accessing the event portal. How do I get to my PathLMS account?

Another option to login to your portal is to locate your paid order receipt sent from support@blueskyelearn.com. Scroll to the view order link then login to your profile.

How do I register to attend sessions?
Once you are logged in, click on Schedule. Visit the sessions you are interested in attending by clicking the titles and select register. This can be done prior to the start of Plain Talk. 

How do I access the Plain Talk sessions I registered for?
You can access each session from the email that was sent to you when you registered for the session or by the event link on your calendar. Additionally, you will receive a Registration reminder email on Monday, February 8th for each session you registered for.

Why can’t I join a Plain Talk session I’m registered for?
Each session will open 30 minutes prior to the session start time. At that time, you can either join from the email you received, the event on your calendar or go back to the session and select the join button, which will be added at the appropriate time.

How can I switch a session to join another one?
You will need to register for the new session before joining the session. Each session has unlimited capacity.

Do I need to cancel my registration in a session to join another one?
Yes. You need to be on the landing page of the session you would like to cancel and click on the “Cancel Registration” link in the lower right side of the page and a pop-up screen will appear. Click confirm to complete your request. 

I am having problems with audio and/ or video.

How do I access the PlainTalkNOLA app?
The App URL below is for use on your phone and the Event URL** is to view on a desktop or tablet. Before you log in, you will be asked to enter the event password: TRLHERE4U

You will be prompted to enter your name and email address where you will be sent a verification code. Once you enter the code, you are in!

How can I receive access to the sessions after the event?
Recordings of the sessions will be available approximately two weeks after the completion of Plain Talk. You will be able to log into your Path account and access the course materials until May 31, 2021.
